You know, I actually like what I'm seeing. I would have actually bought this game, which makes the Epic deal suck even more.
But after seeing this gameplay I kinda lost a bit of interest in the game anyways. It just looks bland imo, and while I did expect the duel system from 3K to come back.
I am not really a fan of it as it gets old really fast. One thing that really bothers me is that this is a game that has only humans, and they seem to not use any matched combat for regular units.
Now I know that system has had many problems in the past, but I really want them to improve upon it instead of just scraping it. I am fine with combat in Warhammer because it would be way too much work having matched combat between that many varied units.
But when you have only humans against other humans, I want something more exciting. They can dress up their "minotaur" humans as much as they want, it still won't be as exciting as a real freaking minotaur charging through a unit in Warhammer.
I feel the more historical games really need to add something special to combat if they want make it exciting. For me, 3k got boring after too short a time because of this issue.

June 4 edited June 4. How about minor characters like Patroclus, Phoenix, Eudoros, etc? Will they be able to fight together with major heroes on battlefield?
Wish to see more units on battlefield. Are hiding units in grass kneeling or are they just standing? The colour of Unit Cards is dark.
It's hard to distinguish units at glance. Regarding the minimap, its shape is circle yet there is square border.
Better if its square. Anyways, is it different from gameplay on June 9 or will it be longer? Post edited by jamreal18 on June 4.

Attila 7. Rome 2 8. Warhammer 1. Looks good so far… But no real greek mythologie based units is really lame I think Looks decent enough, i guess i would've pre ordered it.
But since the release is still one year off, sellouts Every wrong is recorded. Clan Gunnisson! Karak Eight Peaks!
We need Marius Leitdorf of Averland! Where is Boris Todbringer? Have you seen him? Queek could smell their hatred, ratcheted to a degree that even he could not evoke in their simple hearts.
But he heard it first. Krunch said:. Well, I'm definitely not convinced. Fossoway Registered Users Posts: 3, Players typically compete in matches that last a maximum of 15 minutes, but average around 7—9 minutes.
